Over the last few months, the Fairfax Education Association has been working to get more funding for public education from the General Assembly as well as the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors so that our students can get the best education possible. The #Red4Ed campaign has helped to make that happen by sparking debate and action with our elected officials.

Now is the time to use that funding to help our employees.

Our Educational Support Professionals have been underpaid and under-appreciated for far too long. We have educators that live paycheck-to-paycheck and are unable to afford basic necessities in Fairfax County.

Please join us in the fight for “20 by 20”. This is our fight to start all employees at $20/hour by the year 2020.

Please contact your school board member here in Fairfax County and tell them you support $20 by ’20.

Sincerely,

ESP Council Chair Theresia Anderson
