Welcome to FEA!
We are updating our membership records to ensure effective communication to your home email address. Please complete the form at the bottom of the relevant link below and return it to FEA.
The NEA, VEA, and FEA each have Government Relations Councils and Political Action Committees made up of members like you!
Email GRC chair Carrie Holmes at email@example.com if you would like to participate on our committee.
Our PAC and Government Relations councils make recommendations/endorsements on local candidates for office including the FCPS School Board and Board of Supervisors positions.
Once we recommend a candidate we support them with PAC donations and members volunteering to help them get elected.
Why do we do this work?
Because a) we want public education friendly public officials who are committed to making the best decisions for our students and FCPS employees, and b) when we help these candidates they are more likely to consider our input into important policy decisions like class sizes, staffing, raises, and how to use resources.
2019 Election Information

Although the VEA Fund has not moved to endorse in the 40th House District, the FEA is encouraging our members to vote for Dan Helmer. His wife Karen is a VEA member. Dan is committed to supporting educators and keeping public education as a priority in the Commonwealth.
